"A Kind of Reality" Illustration Series | Visual Reinterpretation of Yu Hua's Novel
This is a parable about violence, cycles, and indifference.
Based on Yu Hua's novel A Kind of Reality, I've reconstructed this bone-chilling family tragedy through illustrations—from the oppressive silence at the breakfast table, to a child's ignorant cruelty, and finally to the meticulously calculated revenge of the adult world.
